It was down last night too--I tried to look up specs for 802-8G's -- they weren't in the lansing heritage library.....

    Re: Altec Pro Website

I had no problems ~10 min. ago, but didn't see an 802-8G pdf. The Altec Library has the 808-8B which is the same driver except for having a Symbiotik diaphragm and of course different nameplate. Due to the way they were measured, spec wise from memory, I see no difference except for the 800-300 Hz typo [s/b 3000]: 808-8B COMPRESSION DRIVER

You're right--I just went to Altec Pro and it loaded instantly this time. Must be server trouble or server maintenance--glad they haven't pulled the plug (yet). Thanks for the tip on the 808-8B! I'm going to download a bunch more files from Altec Pro today.....

Working fast for me now. I suspect their server was being serviced.

Old thread, but to me it looks like the Altecpro site is gone for good....

I guess we all expected it would happen eventually but it's a real shame. It was a nice resource....

Hopefully all the material is now in Todd's unofficial library page...
